Seems to be about 1955 design from comparison with a couple of book photos. But I know Sweet Ford Anglia about trucks, so don't quote me. I tried various plate check permutations for NNx 433P which matched several issued series, but got no result. |

Thornycroft 4x4 Mk5A Crash Tender looks similar and the resulting RAF registration date would be 1954 or thereabouts. Knowing little about these, the body/appliance manufacturer would be probably different to the Thornycroft chassis? Yes Thornycroft only built chassis with or without cabs never fire bodywork. |

According to a fire engine book I have number is NNM433P. Body by Universal Motors , Fire fighting kit by Pyrene. |
