Has a "3500" badge, but I'm pretty sure this is a 2500. |

Silver Toyota behind seen in several sequences, probably a support vehicle. |

JOW 453 (Colorado) plate = 1998 Chevrolet C/K2500 Cheyenne / Silverado Style / Body: Extended Cab 97.6 Engine: 7.4L V8 MPI Country of Assembly: United States But definitely 3500 side badging after its makeover midway through ep 3.03. Didn't spot legible badging before then or in ep 3.02 (but wasn't looking very hard). Which suddenly made me think that when GT (and probably TG) do these Big Trips, they almost always do a makeover halfway through, which becomes part of the comedy routine. But (long overdue lightbulb moment) I wonder if the real purpose of the makeover tradition is to enable them to disguise the substitution of a new car as and when they've broken the old one. Maybe they don't do it very often, but it's an escape route available or implemented when needed. |

It had the 3500 badge before the makeover. It's visible in the first photo. -- Last edit: 2019-12-02 03:34:11 |
