It's a 1968 GTO HT with a painted rear bumper and a blower. |

racing against electricity... hood-mounted tachometer... not sure why there would be red light coming from inside the blower, must be a Hollywood thing... also not sure why there was a need to "turn on" the blower as shown in the movie, I was under the impression that a supercharger is always "on". -- Last edit: 2007-08-30 14:14:59 |

Has 15-inch "Snowflake" wheels from a 1970s Trans Am. Nice touch. |

This is one of my favorite old movies and movie-cars. Awesome. |

This care is freaking bad ass and it is nice to see a Pontiac GTO get a good role in a movie for once even if it is a 1968 model and not a 1969 Pontiac GTO The Judge |

craft372....just be thankful it wasn't a 69 Judge they trashed to make the movie. |

Maybe not even a 'real' GTO.....an awful lot of Le Mans' somehow became a GTO thru the years?? (Just like Satellites becoming Road Runners?.....regular '69 Camaros becoming Z-28's?...Cutlass/F-85's becoming a 4-4-2?....) Also nice they switched out the hoods, too?? (It has a regular Le Mans hood, not the Goat's 'Ram Air' hood?) |

If you look in the main photo, the 'Butterflies' (Throttle plates) look as if they are closed, which makes me think it's a 'Dummy' Blower? No Carbs, either?? (Because they're really inside the empty case? Guessing a Holley 650/750 or even the stock Quadrajet??) |
