I quite like this movie also, but I feel it would've been much better had Bruce Campbell gotten the lead role as originally intended; the guy who ended up getting it was kind of weak... I mean, he wasn't terrible or anything, but definitely nowhere near as charismatic as Bruce Campbell. |

Yeah, Dale Midkiff didnt do very well. The way he screams "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" when Gage gets hit by the truck was more funny than dramatic. Bruce Campbell probably would've done a much better job. Fred Gwynne was very likable as Jud Crandall. He was my favorite character in the movie. |
