A lot of the cars in this movie looked too generic for their own pages.

the red roadster seems an Austin-Healey Sprite MkI (Frog-Eye).

Tss. Even the VW is way too generic... Maaaan.

..but I knew if I put it in the comments someone would say "Don't you know a VW when you see one?"

I also thought the monster truck looked like a 1970s era Jeep pickup but was too lacking in detail.

I debated adding them, but finally decided a handful were identifiable, most notably the Corvette, the Ford Woody and the Chevy pickup. The vast majority are, you're right, too generic.

Deleted the two "Rolls-Royces". If you care, tv boy, then you can list them in the comments here. The other vehicles are probably questionable as well but I've left them for now.

Judging by the headlights I think Jeff Goldblum's been experimenting on it :D

Now, that's probably saying something (no offence, opal)

Just by seeing the movie's name on the list, I was absolute sure, what kind of movie it is and what comments (to whose I fully agree) are to find there.

Oh, thank you :o there were some funny comments there posted by dsl and me, they were worth keeping - more than the cars, anyway :)

[:kiki] If I'd just suggested that they be deleted, they never would have been. If the comment was from dsl, it couldn't have been that funny :p What did you say that was so worth keeping?

Probably not according to your sense of humour, that is :D
G-MANN wrote What did you say that was so worth keeping?

I said: "if that's a Rolls-Royce, then I'll be the one to win this year's Eurovision Song Contest". Then, dsl asked me what my song was, and he suggested that I'd perform a song themed around IMCDb, using the chords of the Village People's "YMCA", to which he'd written the lyrics. Then, I composed and posted the lyrics of another song, using the chords of Eddie Cochran's "C'mon Everybody". Afterwards dsl made another song, of which chords I couldn't recognise. Anyway, the lyrics were good and made me smile :) - like that.

Sad as it sounds I thought it was really wrong to have some badly drawn cartoon car added to the Rolls-Royce list (one of the finest car brands) so I thought it just had to go, I was less bothered about the "Corvette" and "'57 Chrysler 300C" In my red-misted outrage, I forgot about your lyrics which for once might have been, in the words of Antp, "worth to keep". Sorry.

It's all right. I've had worse. Much worse. I remember most of my own lyrics at least. Took me no longer than ten-fifteen minutes to put the lyrics together and make them rhyme.
dsl wrote It was supposed to be Witchita Lineman ...

Right. Heard of the song title, but not the song itself (I might have, but I can't recall).

@Lateef - written by Jimmy Webb for Glen Campbell and then covered by pretty well everyone apart from Blondie and Sigur Ros. Try http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwG9mypJhoU .
@G-MANN - you now have no option but to enter and win the Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of Norway. Lattef and I will write new lyrics to a Wurzels song selected by ingo to help you on the road to stardom.

The talking cars in this movie sing a song about being "worthless," and we get to see the deaths of eight of them. The Chevy Light-Delivery that's listed even commits suicide by driving into the crusher.

Posting this here in the comments because some of the cars in the musical number aren't listed.

The vehicles in "Worthless" were loosely based on actual cars apparently:

1st Car - 1952 DeSoto Firedome

[Image: screenshot2023-09-15120331pm.jpg] [Image: screenshot2023-09-15120940pm.jpg]

2nd Car - 1956 Ford Crown Victoria

[Image: screenshot2023-09-15120338pm.jpg] [Image: screenshot2023-09-15121425pm.jpg]

4th Car - 1911 Marmon Wasp?

[Image: screenshot2023-09-15120452pm.jpg] [Image: screenshot2023-09-15120858pm.jpg]

5th Car - 1932 Cadillac V16

[Image: screenshot2023-09-15120545pm.jpg] [Image: screenshot2023-09-15121329pm.jpg]

6th Car - 1940 Dodge P-15 Hearse
