It is obviously a ripoff of John Carpenter's Escape from New York with a Snake Plissken like hero character. I did like that he wore chain mail the whole movie. Also that they filmed for a very short time in Monument Valley.

 Haha, again the classic constellation: so extreme low budget, that the location had to be a junkyard and a dirt area in the desert  The location, called in the title was unreachable...

Anways: for the origin IMCDb-reason, cars in movies, these desert-junkyard-scenea are much more valuable than street scenes from Manhattan. There the compound of the vehicles is much more boring than on these decades-old scrap-areas :o

Meh. You would be surprised what you can could find on a NYC street. You just have to know what to look for. :D

When I'm there, car-spotting is not my favourite pastime. ;)

To ingo and Gomselmash11: No, I meant what to look for. :D While some things may be the same in every country you can spot cars in, other thing have a certain significance to the people in that country.
