What was the green remote-control car that crashes? I think it was a '75 Royal Monaco. |

The crash car is a 1974 or 1975 Dodge C-body, known as a Monaco/Monaco Custom/Royal Monaco depending. (My sources do not agree about exposed vs. hidden headlights. Some say both years were exposed, some say only 1974 was exposed. The big Dodges definitely had them hidden 1976 and later.) |

1975 "Base" Monaco has exposed headlights, like a '74 model,(difference between 1974-75 is grille)1975-77 Royal Monaco had the covered ones, though most P.D.'s "disabled" them to be down (open) all the time. The car shown has exposed lights,so it is not a Royal Monaco. |

I guess these may all be scale models, probably not worth listing then? |

The helicopter that crashes on Superman's first night looks like a custom-painted Bell Long Ranger...can anyone confirm? My mistake...I'm guessing it's a Bell Jet Ranger 206L. -- Last edit: 2009-01-25 02:17:34 |
