Julianne Koepcke's seat (which she was strapped into) fell out of the plane at a result and plummeted over 10'000 feet to the ground below. Koepcke survived the impact, albeit suffering a broken collarbone, a deep gash on her right arm, damage to one of her eyes, and a concussion. All the other 91 people on board were killed when the plane crashed or died from injuries or exposure afterwards. After an 11-day trek through the jungle, she was found by fisherman who transported her to a nearby town where she was airlifted to a more-equipped hospital. A truly incredible story of survival and Ms. Koepcke made a full recovery and, at the time of this writing, is still alive today at the age of 69! If only the picture quality had been as good as the story... not only does the picture sometimes jitter and shake while the camera is obviously still, the picture ALSO bends and distorts sometimes. Weak 3-star airplane Cars too blurry for me to ID. * "This is the true story of Julianne Koepcke, a young girl who survived one of the wildest adventures of our time. All characters except those just listed are portrayed by the very people who themselves lived through Julianne's harrowing experience and now play their own roles in bringing this official record of her story to the screen."
