 Maybe some Fiat product placement for the brand new 127 which gets bashed and the pair of 124 Specials?? It is an Italian film production which might have helped.

In some countries, for example West Germany, it was the first imported Honda-car, even the first Japanese car at all.

And we have several made for USA of them, not only this one:
