S2 (8 eps) about to start showing on BBC4 - was shown earlier in year on other channels. Is anyone planning to pick it up?? If so we probably need some editing of ep numbers to make all existing entries ep 1.0x. |

Yes I started changing the episodes a month or so ago, but got bored halfway and eventually forgot about it. I'm thinking seriously about posting S2. Just a little busy at the moment. |

I'm planning to do it sometime in the near future. Probably shortly after the last episode airs, in two weeks. EDIT: I've made captures for all S3 episodes so far, but like I said I'll postpone uploading until the last two episodes have aired. -- Last edit: 2024-11-27 22:11:00 |

Vehicles: IMPDb Ep. 3.01 Ep. 3.03 Background vehicles: Ep. 3.01 (Scorpio and R5 S2) Ep. 3.04 (Cherry N12) Ep. 3.05 (Audi V8 and Scorpio again - the cinematographer or editor should be sacked for not filming that V8 properly) Nice old boat: Misc.: IBM computer: Ghettoblaster: Radio: Fax machine: Nokia mobile phone (this one's a real tank, even by Nokia standards): Film camera: Do we have any IMCDb members from Oklahoma? How would you rate this (clearly faked) location? Even the sign is obvious bad CGI: |

The "film camera" is a professional video camera used by television stations, for instance for news reporting. The "3 CCD" logo means that the image sensor boasts three charge-coupled devices. The fax machine looks like a 1990s or later model. The curvy styling is definitely wrong for the 1980s. |

Looks like IBM PC XT with CGA monitor to me |

Agreed - this is also a waste of effort when the production had to find some vintage cars and they found a gem like this. |

Sadly, some directors dislike having many cars, extras and clutter on the set as it distracts from the action. In the last two seasons of this and Våre beste år the roads are practically deserted. Which is ironic as scenes set in a specific location, i.e. a bar or a school are always crowded with extras. It just doesn't make sense. Do people not go outside? One of my favourite set-in-the-1980s series, Ashes to Ashes also has the same problem, but at least that one explains it away with the fact that [...] When I worked part-time as an extra I wasn't allowed to wear my checkered shirt as it was too disctractive for the camera. Someone also told me that Nordic directors prefer background cars in dull colors. |

Yes, from time to time they look for vintage cars on Facebook and I have seen "dark colors, no white or Ferrari red". |
