Filmed in the Seychelles. I apologize for the bad quality pictures, presumably the source was an old mediocre videocassette... Other background vehicles: BOAC VC10 and some airport vehicles: |

2nd thumb Bedford TK, 3rd thumb Anglia 105E, 4th thumb unsure but UK - 50s Vauxhall?? 5th thumb Commer PB pick-up 7th thumb BMC FG - with local bodywork?? (which reminds of something I read recently about FG cabs - UK designs had curved cab rears but those in HK had straight sides and were locally assembled - is there something we haven't picked up on as we have loads of HK FGs??) 8th thumb - looks interesting - a Mini-based something?? This could be an interesting film - a location we don't know much about for cars, but from the thumbs is undergoing transition from traditional UK links to absorbing new wave of Japanese expansion. |

Hoorah - a 1970-75 Mini Clubman Estate. First one for nearly 2 months, and in a film with an Italian title!! |

Thumbnail #1 looks like another BMC FG (or the same one as #7). They look like improvised buses. |

imdb says it's an Italian film, filmed in Swedish, and was filmed in Trinidad as well as the Seychelles. Sounds fun. |

When we had been there in 2002, I cannot remember anything else than Asian stuff, nothing classic British was left over. |

Quite strange as because there aren't swedish actors or producers... I believe that was filmed in Italian or English and that almost all exterior scenes were filmed only in the Seychelles, probably just few interior scenes were filmed in Cinecittà in Rome. In addition I haven't seen any caribbean traces in this film, and in my opinion it's unlikely that they moved all to Trinidad and Tobago just to shoot a few short scenes. Probably the IMDB editor has confused this film with previous one, "Svezia, inferno e paradiso" (roughly, the translation would be "Sweden, Hell and Heaven"), produced by the same director. |
