Several vehicles are missing: -M37 Howizter in the scene where Patton ambushes the Germans at Kasserine Pass. -M44 Howitzer in the scene where Patton directs traffic. There are some planes too (could be put in comments) -2 CASA C.2-111-B's (Heinkel He111-H's fitted with Rolls Royce Merlin engines instead of Junkers Jumo 211's) -T6's or BT13's -Cessna 170 |

anyone got the later movie "Patton, The Last Days"? starred the same actors but was made in the early 1980s as a made for TV movie...filmed entirely on location in England, recreating his car accident, and him being laid up in hospital looking back over his life. -- Last edit: 2007-04-08 02:25:11 |

Somewhere halfway in this movie, Patton arrives in Knutsford to address a local women's club. Now the questions. Patton arrives in an American car. This is I assume the Packard. In the backgound there are two big cars visible parked alongside the road. These may be Daimler DE's, but before I realised what I was seeing, the film had moved on. Can anyone help me to identify these two cars? Peter Ruifrok |

Thank you, police car fan, for updating. Although many film critics see this as an amazing war film worthy of acclaim, the anachronisms in the vehicles and scenery simply don;t agree with me. |
