What do you mean? ...this pictures are not enlarged, there are reduced from around 1000 x 505 to 920 x 498...

Your program enlarge them for displaying on screen. A DVD picture is 720 pixels wide originally. So it should be resized to 720 pixels wide if it is bigger when saved.
Like what you always did since years here on the site (why change?). As said on the picture upload pages, bigger sizes are reserved for HD pictures.

The power station is not Battersea but the plane looks like a Bristol Britannia....
