dsl wrote I had a very similar large plastic toy in the late 1960s, except mine was military dark green. No idea on full-size or model make except that it was "foreign" (non-UK) in both cases. Very rugged almost indestructible plastic - very much an outdoor/beach toy - mine survived several years of sandpit abuse.
