Notice all the cars including the star vehicles supposedly located at Kentucky, USA are absent license plates! Could be removed due to privacy issue?

have you noticed the military trucks keep changing makes

This may be because the shots of Fort Knox were filmed on an exterior set in England rather than in Kentucky.

When Goldfinger's "Operation Grandslam" begins, after the troops are all knocked out by the nerve gas released into the air by Pussy Galore's flying team, the convoy enters the military base of Fort Knox and drives to the United States Gold Depository. There are 5 vehicles in the convoy, at the front a Jeep, then two troop-carrying trucks, then a field ambulance (containing the laser) and at the rear a truck with Bond and Oddjob inside. However these vehicles change because some shots were filmed in location in the US and the rest in England around a mockup of the depository building. The Jeep at the front changes between a couple of different models, the troop carriers change from a Chevrolet and a Ford to two International Harvesters. I think the Dodge M43 Ambulance stays the same, but the truck (containing Bond and Oddjob) at the rear starts off as a Chevrolet before they enter the base, then to what I think is another Dodge M43 as they drive through the neutralized base, then to a Ford once they arrive at the depository.

The Jeeps I've added, obviously I know they are Jeeps, but I want to know the exact model each one is. If some of them are the same, maybe I'll group them together.

The Ford Mustang was a 1964 car. The "B" plate marks it 1964 and, given that the film was released in October '64, the only way it could have been a '65 model year car would be if Ford had supplied it. Given that Aston Martin were extremely reluctant to release their DB5 for filming, it is possible to deduce that product placement of the type witnessed today wasn't rampant, and therefore Ford would not have released such a car. I note, however, that Gilette products feature prominently in the film - in Goldfinger's aircraft, for example, when that company's shaving cream thwarts Mai Li's attempts at spying - but having said that shaving cream is a relatively small-ticket item...

I know Pa. doesn't require a front license plate. It looks like Ky. doesn't either. Note all the "non-star" vehicles and you will see few front tags. The few with front tags are probably out of state. All pics of the "star" vehicles are from the front or side.

The Mustang was officially a 1964-1/2. The car was not ready for release during the official change of model year.

Most of those "Kentucky" shots were filmed in North Miami, or in England for the shots on Goldfinger's ranch. We don't have front plates in Florida, though the tags represented in the three shooting locations don't appear to be anything specific to begin with.

I have an old Johnny Lightning diorama from years ago, and it features the Aston Martin and a 1955 Chrysler C-300. Every time I watch the film, I look for the C-300, and I've never seen one. Based on the diorama, do you think they just swapped it in for the Mercedes that Odd Job and his goons are driving in the chase sequence? And figured no 10-year-old kid is going to know any better? It's not in the film, right?

Sean Connery next to what appears to be either a Peugeot 404 or a larger Fiat.
In the background is the 1929 Rolls-Royce Phantom II, converted into a camera car: /vehicle_686817-Rolls-Royce-Phantom-II-NR35XJ-1929.html

The cars parked at the Stoke Poges Golf Club before the match between Bond and Goldfinger are very strange:

A Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud that looks exactly like the one owned by producer Cubby Broccoli: /vehicle_56399-Rolls-Royce-Silver-Cloud-II-1962.html
Broccoli gut his Silver Cloud II in 1962, with the licence plate 'CUB1'. Behind the scenes images show that Broccoli was indeed present during the filming.

Like in Thunderball, there is a red Jaguar E-Type parked near the Rolls. The one in Thunderball ( /vehicle_19065-Jaguar-E-Type-1965.html ) was the one owned by production designer Ken Adam, but that had a 1965 registration.

Last but not least, the dark blue Lincoln Continental from later in the movie can also be seen parked in the distance.

After the golf match, all these cars are gone.

Does anyone know the make and model of the scrapyard vehicle used to pickup the Lincoln Continental and place it into the crusher.
