Un huis-clos à la Agatha Christie...des images d' extérieur au début du film, lorsque Paul Frankeur arrive avec sa grosse américaine (pléonasme ..je sais) |

Actually, Julien Duvivier's is worth a re-watch. At least, it was worth for me. Not only because of the cast: Danielle Darrieux, Paul Meurisse, Lino Ventura, Serge Reggiani, Bernard Blier, Paul Frankeur, Daniel Ivernel, Robert Dalban, Noël Roquevert, Paul Guers, Jeanne Fusier-Gir. But simply for the action. I added a pic of the motorbike and explained why. It is still to be identifyed. -- Last edit: 2019-08-03 20:11:32 |

Oh, the other cars of the assembled people: a 403: a 2CV: (not the priest's, you know now that we avoided this cliché) a probable Chambord: a Dauphine: (registred in 1957). There is a special moment in the beginning of the movie: the priest, on piano, is playing a song of "those times" (German occupation, and Resistance), and he plays the main tune, an enormous hit, "Premier rendez-vous", of Decoin's Premier rendez-vous, starring… Danielle Darrieux (who sang the song). -- Last edit: 2015-02-24 03:04:56 |
