Clearly your one was much sharper, and also complete, the version i have completely missed the intro.

 Thumbnail #13 shows Tri-ang Minic Motorways, not Dinky Toys ;). And I think the Karrier (#21, #23) is Corgi; I'm not sure about the Peugeot 203 in #21.

I recorded this (on videotape!) over christmas on BBC2.
I watched it again last weekend on one of the freeview channels and noticed that the one they were showing was an edited/cut version.!

Chris40, Thanks for the corrections (James May never said the names of all the toy cars, so I had a go myself. I'm mainly a collector of 1/64th-ish scale cars, so not certain of all the larger scale ones ;) )

 @stronghold: No problem ... let's just say that in 68 years I've never quite grown up. The Peugeot is definitely not a Dinky Toy, as the French 24R always had light-coloured wheels; it might be a cheap copy. BTW that Meccano 9F 2-10-0 is rather splendid!
