 This is known as Descendants of the Sun in English. Filming took place in 2015 and aired in 2016. It has a lot of product placement from Hyundai.

Most Korean drama series are like Latin American telenovelas, i.e. one block of episodes telling a complete story. There's no need to hold the year range open waiting for a second season.
