dsl ◊ 2016-03-14 22:45	Taken from If War Should Come - vol 3 (1939-41) of 3 BFI compilation DVD sets of shorts from The GPO Film Unit. Strange 19-minute film supposedly comparing 3 different islands round Britain. First visit is Eriskay (Outer Hebrides) - no vehicles shown, then goes to Guernsey (Channel Isles) where it concentrates on a granite quarry and then tomato farming. Then a brief visit to Inner Farne (uninhabited apart from a lighthouse, so no vehicles. Finishes with 5 minutes footage of steel smelter and foundry, a power station, some footage of the Queen Mary leaving (Southampton?) docks and the aeroplanes below - all of which have nothing to do with anything. sixcyl ◊ 2016-03-15 20:44	Thanks again for these nices pics of Short Empire and DH 91 Albatross. Unfortunately since 12th of March, IMPDb fails 90% of time a wanted connection to the site. It's almost impossible to Watch correctly at it and to feed it with new sets of pictures and films...

Thanks again for these nices pics of Short Empire and DH 91 Albatross.

Unfortunately since 12th of March, IMPDb fails 90% of time a wanted connection to the site. It's almost impossible to Watch correctly at it and to feed it with new sets of pictures and films...
