Taken from

Ration Books and Rabbit Pies: Films from the Home Front DVD collection from BFI.

Fairly stupid 6 minute film about the dangers of spreading colds and flu by sneezing unless you wear a germ-mask all the time

Includes instructions on how to make your own.

Only one entry to post, but I also wanted a dustbin page to post some other bits and pieces from this DVD which are interesting but don't really qualify for full pages:

1] Food Flash. The DVD has several of these little inserts - each from 15 seconds to 1 minute long - which were regularly issued 1942 to 1946 in a series without individual titles or listed dates. These shots come from one announcing an increased sugar allowance to enable people to make more home-made jam

Probably BGH 879 plate = 1934 London, although DGH (1936) also possible

2] Sabotage
[Image: title.244.jpg] [Image: title2.136.jpg]
Very strange 1942 short - 1 minute long - about looking after your clothes properly so they last longer. Has this saloon in 2 sequences

Something US??

Could be a Humber, circa 1936.
