… and more hammy than they are, you're just a loaf of smoked meat.

Fortunately, there is also Sheldon Leonard

as the tough and stubborn copper.

The script is crazy, involving corpse reanimation, like in some HP Lovecraft short story. Pretty new for a noir.

All in all, and in more than one way, it's quite entertaining.

About the cars, I think it'll be easy for you, if it was not for me.

Un film noir absolument frappadingue, avec acteurs plus mauvais les uns que les autres, sauf le flic, et femme fatale pire qu'une tarentule porteuse du virus de la peste. Mais c'en est plutôt rigolo.
