Taken from Children's Film Foundation/BFi Bumper Box Volume 3 set and completing the 8 relevant films - there's a final 9th film, but it's set in 19th C, before engined vehicles so nowt of interest to us. One of the last CFF films, as demand dwindled because kids matinees at cinemas dropped out of fashion, replaced by exciting things on TV. However it's a cracking story and a real film plot up to TV standard - probably the highlight of this DVD collection. Rejects - Lada; Escort Mk2 Popular panda car there's also blurry glimpses of a couple of Cortina Mk5s, but not worth bothering with. Unusual grey phone box These were rare, but I'd forgotten the explanation - the Post Office was forced to use allowing a less strident grey with red window bars for areas of natural and architectural beauty
