Nice clear film free to view on BFI but not many vehicles, all in last few minutes on Isle of Wight https://player.bfi.org.uk/free/film/watch-travelling-sixties-1968-online Bit of googling detective work reveals bus fleet featured belongs to Moss Motor Tours ![]() -- Last edit: 2020-04-07 22:40:03 |

The other Commer with a Duple body referred to on Buses on Screen must be registration (just visible) 'RDL9' 1958 Avenger IV Duple Vega/Super Vega 'lookalike' also of Moss, Sandown.![]() On the extreme left with the higher Vega lookalike butterfly front as on a Commer. Another 1963 Bedford SB '670ADL' with Yates Fiesta body is seen next to the Commer Duple, second from the right. ![]() A close-up of the front at 07:23 of a coach trip to Alum Bay and the Needles could be a Thames Plaxton but not with Moss Motor Tours. ![]() ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2020-04-09 14:31:53 |
