Duvallès est épatant, Lucien Brulé (le spleenétique Felloux) amusant, Alerme tel qu'en lui-même, Aquistapace (le pharmacien) a la voix de Charpin. Et on a Maupi aussi. Côté mesdames, on trouve Florelle, Milly Mathis et Mona Goya en attendrissante jeune femme qui a eu des malheurs mais qui tient debout.
