The poverty version, the "Guantanamo-trim line" ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casio_F91W ) is my favourite watch since the late 80ies |

Very 80s A lot of cheap fakes of that watch are sold, hold the right button for a few seconds for it to display CASIO if it's genuine. And the genuine only sells for £7... Link to "www.amazon.co.uk" Still exactly the same model. |

When I've bought one at http://www.centro.de/english my wife was slightly pissed We went to a watch-shop and after I've asked expressly for this watch, the shop-girls were really bewildered. Then one lady had said "Hmm, I think, we still have one", kneeled down and digged under the showcase in old boxes and packings - and finally found one. I was very happy, she said after a little cough with a crooked smile "Well, it's somehow timeless design". My wife's reaction was just the classic |

These digital-plastic watches are much more useful, especially when you are travelling, as being waterproof, having lighting and buzzer. Anyways, thanks for the reminding In two weeks we have company-party and for boasting with my unique (in Europe) watch it needs a new battery. Seriously, my parents-in-law brought me this from their cruise around Down Under, because at no stop at any port there, they could find this T-Shirt /vehicle.php?id=188741 They really have asked in every tourist's and clothing shops. |

Roundabout this price I've also paid for this -let's say "semi-original" watch, back in 1998 on a Balinesian beach. It ran for 4 weeks. Then I've nailed it besides my other travelling souveniers |

That Holden watch is nice. Are you going to start wearing it instead of your Casio? |

at the company-party yes, otherwise the Casio is really more useful. |

Oh, the poverty-spec version of the Pulsar I had in the late 80ies. |

Thanks, but I'll stay with the sophisticated timeless design. |
