imdb calls it Night Mail II, 1987. DVD calls it Night Mail 2, 1986. Sequel to commemorate 50th anniversary of original Night Mail film.

"Night Mail II was produced by TVS - TV South (formerly Southern Television) and featured an updated poem by Blake Morrison with music by James Harpham. Bob Franklin was the director and Peter Williams was the producer. Night Mail II maintained the momentum and pace of the original Night Mail with aerial shots of the North East TPO (Travelling Post Office) with the new 'Royal Mail Letters' red and yellow livery with corporate typeface. Aptly, the loco was 47515 'Night Mail'. The carriage numbers were 80365, 80422, 80320, 80362, 80421, 80363 and brake 80868."

Can't find a copy online, but it's on the 2007 BFI re-issue of Night Mail on DVD

... but not on other reissues such as those by GPO/BBC.

If anyone's interested there was even a "Night Mail III" as a 1988 commercial for British Rail - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igcesxk3Is0

Planes for impdb - deep breath and eyes down because there's a lot of captures

1] BAC One-Eleven Series 528, G-AXLL. A joint arrangement between British Caledonian (daytime passenger flights) and Royal Mail (night mail flights)
- arrives at Gatwick in evening with passengers from Paris

.... and 4 hours later it becomes the overnight flight to Edinburgh, loaded with mailbags

2] Loganair at Barra's Traigh Mhor airport (as seen in several films - eg /movie.php?id=3112280 )
- I never saw a clear shot of the registration, but expect someone can fill it
