I have never seen this parody before but from what I read on IMDb, it's apparently really bad. |

Trashy movie, but in all fairness fun to watch I'm among those who thought that Epic Movie really was epic, so naturally I enjoyed this one, too |

I guess it's one of those 'so bad, it's good' movie. |

I'd say it's rather a movie that doesn't try to take itself seriously, and pulls it off somehow. To compare, The Room is one of those movies that are so bad that they're good. Serious plot, soapy atmosphere and builds up all kinds of emotions, but they all turn out to be laughable due to the horrible acting and the lame over-the-top screenplay. Here, we have a movie that has decided from the very beginning that nothing dramatic or saddening will happen. That way we also avoid the usual clichées. It's just going to be a merry-go-round of laughable randomness. Then, there's the movies that are so bad they're not even good which Seven Below is a flawless example of. That has mainly to do with wasted resources. -- Last edit: 2013-05-08 09:46:21 |

I remember it was one of the few movies I went to before I started my highschool education (I don't really know how it looks right now after the education system reform, but in those days highschool apprentices had to have several interviews with teachers when they were asked i.e. about their latest cultural experiences - movies, plays, exhibitions they went to, etc.), and what I remember as a 14 year old is that I had constant feeling I'm to old for this film to make me laugh:P I was rather bored. |
