I saw this movie, it wasn't very good, but the chase sequence at the beginning is very good, one of the best ever made, in my opinion.

I agree Ford Guy, one of the best chases ever. When all the cars were going down the road with multiple hills and jumping at the same time, with the light bars falling off, that was great.

It's on TV now. The chase was great.

Didn't know the Caprice was fire proof.

This film also deals with "The Blue Code of Silence"; a form of practice where police officers often choose not to report another officer's misconduct

What Bruce Willis' character did in the film was the right thing and if those other cops think what he did was the wrong thing to do, then they should take up another profession.

No picture of the '80s Buick Regal at the very beginning which for some reason has a Ford tape deck?
