http://www.eselfilme.com/popups/55/55341.htm A 43-minute German documentary about a changing society. The film covers i.a. the following topics: the Kimchi harvest, energy shortages, the North Korean preschool system, the North Korean famine, English lessons in North Korean schools, private farm markets and restaurants, demand driven shoe production, a Buddhist temple, a Bowling alley and the International Friendship Exhibition. -- Last edit: 2012-06-04 09:11:31 |

Oh, something from North Korea without any of the legendary Volvos, not even with any Mercedes Benz? I thought, that I have the book about this tour, but there isn't one. Just all publications about North Korea, either films of books, have very similar tiles. Always something about "insights to a mysterious country", "...to a closed country", "...to a forbidden country", etc. |

This evening I found the time to watch this DVD (from 2003, about the free distribution of 6.400 tons of beef Link to "fulltextreports.com" ) . Some W123-Benzes appears, it seems, that the main organisator was transported in a W126 sometimes, also one of the legendary Volvo 144 - and I've spotted two doubledecker-coaches! And the truck with the embarking stairs on the airport is a last gen Mercedes T2. Plus several JDM Sedans and overaged DPRK-buses and trucks. |
