This film is set in 1982/83, when First Blood (the first of the Rambo series) was playing in cinemas in Britain.

Clips from First Blood (/movie_83944-First-Blood.html) are shown in this film, including one where Rambo drives an Army truck through a police road block:

Why didn't you post those pictures with the rest of the vehicles? I mean even if it is a clip from a different movie, wouldn't they still belong there?

And also, if you wish, it might be nice to add that Dodge Royal Monaco in the first thumbnail to the First Blood page, seeing as how it is not listed there.

Just a suggestion ;)

Indeed those pictures need to be added, this has happened other times with other movies and we never exclude them, even if from other movies they're still inside the new one, so they're part of the film.

I wouldn't mind listing them, but think I've asked antp about this before and he said no. Although some film pages list cars from clips of other films, like this: /vehicle_38489-Ford-LTD-Crown-Victoria-1989.html

I wouldn't count music videos entirely made with bits from one or several movies and with it's original actors (what is the same, literally taking the original edition of it) to movies containing parts of other movies, like when they steal a car chase but put the actors from the new movie in, it's just not the same, G-MANN, that conversation with Antoine was probably related to music videos or programmes like Top Gear/Fifth Gear which is not the same either, so for movies we should add them but not for the rest.

For movies, if they make like if it was made for that movie (but actually stolen from another, e.g. the chase) I guess we can relist the cars.
If they obviously show another movie (seen on TV, theatre, etc.) then I'd only put a comment.
And as you said, for TV programmes or music videos showing scenes from movies, no need to relist the scenes.

I agree there's not much point in adding music videos which just use clips from films (because the song is featured prominently in the film's soundtrack). Although on the subject of clips from other films, what about archive footage, that's OK isn't it? Is using clips from other films any different to that? Also I'm pretty sure a lot of films use the same reconstruction clips of Kennedy's Lincoln (usually they come from JFK).

Archive footage (like JFK, to take your example) is not like something taken from another movie, as these usually do not have their own entry on imcdb.

But I would think that if it's shown prominently on screen, and not just on a small TV that the main character is watching, for example, then it might be worth listing?

Anyhow, G-MANN, are you going to add that Royal Monaco to the First Blood page?

For me, not really, I'd just mention it in comments with a link to the page of the vehicle in its movie.

Although you say this antp, the old cars in this film: /movie.php?id=165854#AddComment are actually from scenes taken from the film "Poor Cow" (although that isn't on this site yet).

And? that matches "if they make like if it was made for that movie" (they do like if it was some archive images, it is not like if they were watching an old movies, cf comment on that page: "featured as flashbacks")
