This series in DVD is not avaible in Europe. I found in Canada an edition with perfect quality french language (Year 1 and 2).

They used a number of 1970s Plymouth and Dodge police cars right through the 1980s run of the show, most were filthy with dirt on the outside.
In some scenes it was obvious the roof numbers were stuck on with peel off lettering.
Actors seem to do a lot of their own driving too.

Upgrades for season 1 are ready to go. Will send them to antp shortly.

In the meantime, can any admin at home with the vehicles currently listed on this page contact me via PM on the forum (yes, I have an account now...)? I'd really like him/her to weed out any duplicates and useless rubbish from the additional images I have prepared before I submit anything as this page is already well-populated.

I would help but this era I am not familiar with. Maybe @night cub might be able to assist? I know this era he seems to know more about than I. Not sure if any other admin, familiar with US spec cars, might be able to assist.

Whew. I submitted all I had to submit for season 1. I tried to do as few background vehicles as possible and limit myself to "nicely" visible ones or those that seemed interesting to me (which may be boring and common as dirt to you, though). I also tried my best to not duplicate anything. Merge away wherever I failed.

Some backgroundmobiles I did not submit for various reasons (too small, obscured, blurry...):

note regarding thumb 2 here: it's from a long-ish scene with a number of more or less interesting cars driving past, but Washington and LaRue are so positioned I thought it useless to make captures.

Also in this episode is this tiny red thing which looks like an interesting convertible:

That is 1978 Chevrolet Nova if there such a page of own listed.

^ There are three Novas listed, but none is marked 1978. As antp is not a fan of listing too many background vehicles, especially for crowded TV series, I'm leaving it to the admins to decide whether this one should be listed or merged with the existing one-star Novas.

Incidentally, I forgot to mention that I didn't follow IMDb's episode numbering. It lists 15 episodes for season 1, but the last two are presented as two-part episodes (thus four episodes) elsewhere. So as to have my timestamps make sense, I went with 17 episodes for season 1 with antp's approval.

Red Spridget - possibly a 1970+ facelift Midget with the split bumper removed as the plate is lower than earlier position.
