Dear mike962, your objection needs to be answered, as i think it is worth it!
It is a Docu-drama produced for arte / Das Erste Öffentlich-Rechtlicher Rundfunk
insufficient translation 'public TV' controled by trustworthy broadcasting council built by all kinds of democratic forces in Germany.

The real story is about a jewish girl which was best german high springer and her fate
as well as about a man building the Olympic village.

When you watch the movie you will see the contradiction between what is said and what is shown.
Have to admit it is a conflict to show only the picxtures without the comments, so i concentrated on vehicles and technical stuff almost free of propaganda or symbols of power etc.
Omitted 'his' Mercedes for e.g. i am sure we allready have.
On the other hand we get extreme rare sights of Berlin busses etc. before the war underrepresented yet!

I really don't see what the problem is here. It's nice to have another historical documentary on the site.

but it's same footage over and over and over again

it's not like NEW footage will pop up out of nowhere

I don't have a counter for that.

Me, too, as 'new footage of 1936' is a paradoxon, but i am sure this car was never listed before, and i want to know it!
What is my intention: there was a US-german colab before the war in making cars.
We almost know nothing about.
The only chance is to show docus of Berlin streets with Chrysler possibly made by Ambi Budd.
You know some day there will be no more contemporary witness and all we have are authentic film material
We are not only car spotters, but like archaeologists.

it could be easy lurking in the 1350 + pages of unknowns

heck if somebody from outside would visit the site there might be think that this is some sort of weird fetish for nazi era dokus instead of of being the Internet MOVIE data base

It wouldn't be the (complete) Internet MOVIE data base when excluding 1933 - 1945 era.
But what i am talking about, this well depicted luxury car is ~ 1930 our task to identify
with anything else are just excuses!!!

IMCDb is a highly respected reference among automotive enthusiasts around the world - and we are also known for being an online museum with exhibits you sometimes don't find anywhere else. With this movie we got our 7th Büssing D3, doubled our stock of MB L 6500, welcomed the eleventh Horch 830 R, captured a few more buses that most likely no longer exist - all in all a solid gain in quality, I'd say. Gets me more excited than the 500th Mazdabishi Imprexima, to be honest, but that's a matter of taste.

I like this! And we already unearthed a lot of historical golddust that way.

The 1929/31 Morris Isis/Wolseley Messenger body was pressed from Budd dies which cost Morris £120,000 and were also used on Dodge Victory Six and Ruxton cars. It would therefore seem to back up the willingness of Budd to spread its business wherever it could make money. Bearing in mind the high cost of developing press tools for large parts such as those for car bodies, and the low volume of sales of cars like the Isis, (fewer than 4000 in 3 years) it is likely that more cases of multiple uses of dies could be found.

Cars made by the Chrysler company which had bought Dodge in 1928 were the subject of model name changes from those used in USA when sold in Europe so it could be that those same dies were used in 30s Germany by Ambi-Budd. Tarted up De Sotos were apparently badged as Chryslers in some cases in the early 30s.
