Roy Scheider's car in the film is a silver 1973 Pontiac Ventura Sprint coupe : http://mclellansautomotive.com/photos/B6323.jpg It's the car that hits the back of the parked truck. The 'baddies' he's chasing are driving a 1973 Pontiac Grand Ville : http://www.cars-on-line.com/18992.html

appassionato wrote Very good chase!

Part of it was filmed on the Taconic Parkway not too far from my house. The weird thing is that they should have been in New Jersey since theywent on the George Washington Bridge, but unrealisticly they filmed that part slightly up north in New York.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't a famous quote from the movie: "How d'you like that, you ugly son of a b****?"

Can anybody help identify this White car in the center with tail/brake lamps glowing. Is that a 63 Chevy Impala?

I may be imagining this but in the sequence where the funeral cars are pulling away from the funeral home, the last car in the line is a Pontiac Embassy limo, stretched at the rear doors and C-pillar. Its only shown for a brief second. Anyone else see it?

Did you know The Fall Guy (episode 2.07) stole the Seven-Ups car chase?

For “IMTDB”, two GG1s. One for Penn Central, and the other Amtrak.
