Sure about that? This brand was unknown here. In Germany "Carrera" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrera_%28slot_car_brand%29 was so popular, that the name "Carrera-Bahn" became common for all kinds of these slot racings, also for the second -but much less- popular "MÄRKLIN Sprint" ( http://www.third-mind.de/sprint/ ), existing between 1967 and 1982. |

No . It's the same in the UK for Scaletrix. They are so popular and well known that people just use that as a general term for slot cars as I did there. A bit like Hoover or Jeep. |

Idem in France with "Circuit 24" for the 60's, who was leading the French market competiting with Jouef and ... Scalextric! But the brand desapeared in the 70's, Scalextric was the most spread system then, followed by Carrera... |
