Supposedly a Hong Kong street scene.

If it's not Hong Kong, it's somewhere else in Asia.

Everything else was filmed in the UK, mostly in south-west London.

Upgraded to HD which, alas, is matted widescreen crap losing considerable portion of the image on top and bottom (whatever happened to more picture in widescreen?), so I left some of the pics as they were.

1964 Corgi 247 Mercedes 600 Pullman - I had one when I was a nipper. Recently reissued as a Corgi Model Club replica.

What happened was that the film was not shot in widescreen.

Quote Open matte is a filming technique that involves matting out the top and bottom of the film frame in the movie projector (known as a soft matte) for the widescreen theatrical release and then scanning the film without a matte (at Academy ratio) for a full screen home video release.

^ Yes, I know. I'm well aware of the practice and I find it detestable given that back in the day they advertised widescreen as having more picture than TV. I wouldn't mind so much if all that was matted was what Kevin Smith calls "dead space" (and position markers for the actors...), but this is definitely not the case here (see the Daimler truck). It's no better than 4:3 pan&scan monstrosities.
