The aircraft is a 1932 de Havilland DH82a Tiger Moth with the registration mark G-APAD. It is part of the Imperial War Museum collection at Duxford, Cambridgeshire, England. We are used to cars having fake plates but his may be an example of an aircraft having a fake registration. If the film is set in 1924 the aircraft is an anachronism as it was not built until 1932, and the registration was not issued until 1952.

OK. This is G-APAO (not G-APAD), a 1940 DH82a which is owned by a company which operates a number of vintage aircraft on pleasure flights from Duxford. It does look like G-APAD in the screen cap so it might have been faked for the film.
