Registration, or tail number is G-AGVC. This was indeed a Silver City Airways airplane.

Looks like the movie producers rented or borrowed the airplane in livery newer than shown in my above Wikipedia link and just added their own airline name. Rock Hudson's character's last name is Talbot. So in the movie, he uses his own airline to freight in his car. So "Intercontinental Airways" and "A Talbot Enterprise" were either stickers or paint. From what I've gathered, these might not be stickers (the adhesive for bumper stickers may not have been available until later in the 1960's). The blue stripes were original livery from the real airline.
