Don't know if this series adds anything to this site. I skipped the heavily tuned ones.

Sorry to what i will say but for me, all the documentary, games and cars TV show aren't the project of imcdb. It's Internet MOVIE Cars Database. So for me it's for all the fictional movies (or others series, music video ...). I know this isn't what all members think but i want to said it. :)

Well Rinspeed, I don't think music videos really fall under the movie category...

Depends which one no? I really don't like their aesthetics, but these early ones from the 1980's are usually a small films with plot.
Documentaries also not always look like a reportage (dominated by self promoting host), some are many times close to the fictional movies, not to mention that at some point they had monumental and positive influence on the cinema generally.

Sorry but i will keep my opinion. And for what you said, i just saw difference beetween fictional or not: Movies, TV Series and a lot of Music Video are fictionnal (in a lot of music video, there is a little story) but in Documentaries, Games or TV Show, it's not the case. I had put one documentary a few years ago in imcdb but i regret now to had put it. When we want to see where is a car appear (interesting to see in what movie!), i don't want to see if the car is in Top Gear, Peking Express (that i can't see here in France) or a little blurry under others cars... When you want to see where is a car, there is 50% of not used cars and little background cars = not very interesting. Yes it's interesting to recgnize all the cars but at the beginning, imcdb is just for see where are the important cars or used cars (or rare cars) in movies (not background Renault Clio or Crown Victoria). Sorry if i had hurt someone. I just want to say it.

There are documentaries and documentaries, we can't judge all of them in the same way with the same criteria. There are a lot of brilliant films of this sort with story/plot and there are also such TV shows like you have mentioned (or like the thing about the rally cars, which I list right now :D ).

This one we have here is one of the ones that I wouldn't add to the site, and besides, Garco, you say you skipped the tunned cars and the dragsters but in any case I would have skipped the background-unrelated-to-the-documentary cars well just in case there are any :/ ), I think it's nice to see documentaries from decades ago because we'll find nice cars in them but these ones don't really deserve to be added to the site, not interesting from my point of view to add cars which (many times) aren't used by any person and just appear randomly on footage as we listen to a voice over.

Yeah, I thought it was a nice Autralian movie. If I had seen the pictures before making this entry, I would not even start with it.

The film is made by a New Zealand guy, and filmed in NZ, Aus and parts of Europe (Germany, Norway, UK, Netherlands, Etc).
It does have a plot, and the cars are driven by charcters alotough they are minor. some are more major than others. We have other tuner movies, and I think the tuned cars are interesting. Not to create WWIII, but if sixcyl has his background cars, what is wrong with full 3/4 pics of some tuned cars? most of them atleast have the make, some model. And we have dragster experts, so they should be identifeid easily. But thats just my POV.

Do you want me to re-submit the dragsters, and some other missing cars (only background ones are intresting dragsters, all others two and three stars)?

Why "re-submit"? Pics are still where you posted them on the forum I guess?

What about the rest of the dragsters? plus some drag nikes, and some other modified cars. only two-three of the missing ones are one star, the rest are two or three. Please respond why.
