Goof: http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0046250/goofs
Continuity: After her haircut, when Ann enters the piazza, clock tower 1 reads 12:35 pm, but when Joe follows behind her, it reads 12:32 pm. When Ann sits in front of clock tower 1 in medium shot and Joe "runs into her", it reads 2:40 pm, even though it's only been a few minutes between entering, getting gelato and sitting down. Their conversation starts at 2:40 pm, but during the close-ups of Joe, clock tower 2 behind his head reads from about 4:55 pm - 4:58 pm, and when he stands up at the end of conversation and says "Today's going to be a holiday", clock tower 1 behind them in the medium shot reads 3:50 pm.

Yes, a fascinating town. In September 1989 I sat on the steps of the middle thumbnail, too. :)

And I've seen a police-car-chase beside the Colosseo! A Carabineri-Giulia Nuova chasing annother Giulia Nuova :wow:

Trivia: In the last scene Princess Ann (Hepburn) shakes hands to all foreing press correspondents in Rome. In fact, Hepburn shook hands with the "real" press correspondents in 1953, except actors Gregory Peck and Eddie Albert

Due the comments of DynaMike and Pilou about the distorted pics. Now have been resized to 662X498 and, indeed, the vehicles looks more similar to the others same ones in the site. Thanks.

Amazingly, nobody has noticed the white Lancia Aurelia GT (series 2)driving by,when Audrey Hepburn is having her ice cream on the famous steps in Rome. The camera is looking down slightly at her, Gregory is chatting to her, then you see the car slowly driving by.

The delivery truck! http://lovebunnies.luckypro.biz/01_stuff/roman_holiday/rom_04.html (scene 04-09)
Any and all information about Irving's car. At http://lovebunnies.luckypro.biz/01_stuff/roman_holiday/rom_08.html I have information, but cannot find the original web site any more. Is the information correct?
Thank you!
