This movie--a must see for any Divco milk truck fan--is a 1950 musical comedy in which Jimmy Durante plays a veteran milkman taking a klutzy novice (Donald O'Connor) under his wing. The picture quality isn't too good, unfortunately. The movie has never been released on DVD and is rarely shown on TV, so the only copies floating around are old VHS copies. |

The fire apparatus response scenes were lifted from the 1947 Columbia Pictures release of 'It Had To Be You' starring Cornell Wilde (as a fireman) and Ginger Rogers. The fire house is a 'set' on the Columbia lot and stood until 1974 when it and several other streets were destroyed in a fire.
