The IMDB doesn't have any location information, but the credits show that it was filmed in South Africa -- as does the number plate on the Bedford.

Please tell me, how do you pronounce that correctly: lepre[tsh]aun or lepre[k]aun?
I was halting, when I read in an article about them a few weeks ago.

According to what I found in Wikipedia, in "Irish" language the "ch" seems to be actually [x], which should be more easy for you than for me since it is the same as the German "ch" that occurs after a/au/o/u. So it will probably become a [k] or a [R] like for Bach or Schumacher for French-speaking people :D

Lepre[x]aun would be hard to pronounce, even for German-speaking people. Well, except for the Swiss, who make an [x] out of every 'ch'... ;)

Usually people pronunce it as "lepracorn".
