Would this series be acceptable?

It is like Unsolved Mysteries and they do reenactments of the crime.

I'm not a validating admin, so am outside the decision process. But if it helps, a couple of points:
- Crimewatch UK is well-known prime-time BBC1 series which at times during its long run got very high viewing figures
- I don't really watch it, but I gather a common tactic is to film reconstructions of events, therefore a lot of footage is not original/authentic (but regular viewers may be able to comment better)
- if it has value for the site, my guess would be by carefully sifting for original footage from significant/notorious events/crimes, where vehicles had an important role.

So if it's acceptable, possibly only after tight selection of which entries to post.

Souds similar to the German version I've done: /movie.php?id=290954
In my opinion it would be OK, if we reduce it also to two or more star-rated vehicles or these one-stars that belongs to the scenery.
What walter wrote back then to me would be the same case here:

Should I stop adding vehicles until a decision has been made?

I guess it's ok. Just stick to vehicles with roles and try not to duplicate (use the comments). There are almost 300 episodes and we don't want this title to become a chore of admins having to clean it up all the time. Try to find scripted shows and stay away from non-fiction as a general rule. It just causes more headaches than you realize.

I will be sure to do that

Would Police Interceptors be ok, it has some noteworthy cars?

Just because they re-enact some of the crime scenes doesn't qualify it as "fiction".
You can find a program like this in any country. I could start uploading 1982 episodes of https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opsporing_Verzocht

"Stay away from non-fiction titles!"
"Would this one be acceptable?"
"What did I just say?"
Goes to bang head against a brick wall.

Can people stop treating plates on this show as gospel and useful for identifying the cars?

They use the plates from vehicles used in the crimes or partial plates given by witnesses, sometimes (most times?) the actual car is not available and they use another one.

Eg:
/vehicle_1432896-Rover-200-R8-1990.html

This can't be the real J694UBL as if you watch the video that car was destroyed by the criminals after the robbery, so there's nothing to say they actually used a 1992 214 for the reconstruction instead of a 1991 216 or whatever.

For stuff like police cars that appear and maybe pictures of recovered cars at police stations we can maybe trust them, the actual "vehicles of interest" I don't think we can.

Sandie,

If I may have the impertinence to suggest a modification to your post above: -

The reason that I have not added to this in a while is because I cannot find anymore episodes of this.
