Saw this movie the other night, it was great! Images are from the trailer and clips on Youtube, but the stars I allocated are based on what I saw in the movie.

I'm guessing it's already on Blu-Ray/DVD in Europe. It hasn't been released yet here in America and that's what I was waiting for. And yes, it's a very good movie.

Rita Braver used a 1929 Hudson from this film as a backdrop on CBS Sunday Morning, Feb. 19, 2012, while reporting on the the History for Hire company.

Thanks, that's useful http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZlXRHDZHM8 - though they have it confused with a Hollywood movie.

One thing that annoyed me about this movie is that the majority of vehicles used were too new for the time frame of the movie.

Valentin's 1931 Lincoln shows up in 1927. Peppy's driving a a 1935 Cadillac in 1930 or so. Model A Fords weren't introduced until 1928 but are seen in 1927 and they're 1930 and '31 models.

Oh ya, the snub nosed .38 Smith&Wesson revolver that Valentin tries to kill himself with at the end was not introduced until 1950. Did the prop company really screw up this badly or did the director make the decision to use anachronistic props deliberately? What's so hard about finding period correct cars and guns?
