Saw this film just last night. Was ok - not bad, not brilliant. The original is definately superior, but this is worth watching for sci-fi and CGI fans.

BTW - There are some scenes in the film which show some abandoned taxi cabs of old London and several other wrecks.

Chrysler sponsored the film; some of the "hover cars" wear Chrysler and Dodge names and badges.

The film also features the United Federation of Britain (UFB), which is kind of neat and I assume means almost all of the worlds nations combined under Britain to make the UFB. Sort of like a one world nation.

One might think the future positions of the continents would have a role to play in such a story, but the continents will not have moved much in less than 100 years.

All the cars here kinda ridicule & unlikely. The Lexus 2054 EV made for Minority Report 10 years ago is much more beauty and realistic, there's no comparison.
