Aston Martin Mk.III or a late DB2/4.

Why that and not a Hillman Imp? Are golfers that poor?

The black car left, right of the tent, is it a Jaguar XK?

They could not buy an Imp until May 1963 launch, so probably had to make do with lesser stuff for the filming date.

Yes - XK140.

It’s a pretty impoverished golf club. Not a Bentley in sight.

You won't get many golf bats in the back of an Imp.

Five hundred plus 500 +, so we have only scratched the surface.
I think they are great, such good quality period film , but suppose others may be bored with them

I guess you meant 'clubs' not 'racquets' - or maybe you were being sarky?

In the first thumb there is a Ford Mk1 convertible.

In the second thumb a near new (red) FB Victor.

The game was referred to by one of my ex-Soldier colleagues as “Infantry Polo”.

The age of the film is proved not only by the cars and the trousers, but the thin-ness of the golf bags. Where do you put your clubs if you drive a Beetle? Roof-rack?

Hear hear! Since I have absolutely no interest in modern cars (ie post 1970) I would have to find something else upon which to waste my time, like gardening or decorating.

Geez, the guy(s) who they bought the film stock from must've been able to retire early.
