I can't trace anything about this film anywhere, not even an imdb reference. These captures taken from an extra on the 2014 BFI reissue of That Sinking Feeling on DVD, which is Bill Forsyth's 7 minute long acceptance film for 2009 BAFTA Scottish Lifetime Achievement Award, during which he talks to camera about his first film job starting in Feb 64 as cameraman on this film, with a couple of minutes of extracts as used here. 1964 date would match final construction of Forth Road Bridge (compare with this from 1999 plus Clyde Tunnel (northbound opened July 1963, southbound March 1964) sequences As these are uncoded extracts, I can't give much in the way of star ratings or timings Rejects at Clyde Tunnel: Late Rover P4 Tanker Other bits: Possibly East Kilbride expressway from commentary, or maybe A8 (now M8) somewhere near Harthill between Glasgow and Edinburgh -- Last edit: 2014-12-12 16:31:36 |
